In recent years, I have embraced a certain kind of naiveté in my philosophy. Growing up, I was a natural cynic, pedant, and misanthropist. I have worked hard to scour my brain of all this. I now have a deeply unironic, unapologetic, and earnest enthusiasm for life, the future, humanity, rationality, and the truth. Oh, and math! I’d like to share a bit of that enthusiasm with you.
My topics of interest broadly include philosophy, science, mathematics, and artificial intelligence. I have a BS in mathematics and I’m working towards my MS in computer science. I’m a physicalist, transhumanist, utilitarian, effective altruist, and econoliterate libertarian. And a Bayesian, obviously. I hope you enjoy!
